Tip (or few!)
Located in the heart of Provence, L’Auberge de Noves offers several choices of visits in all directions… A folder with suggestions is available for your convenience in your room.
Our friendly receptionists are happy to be of help and to recommend places of interest for you.

Whatever your preference: Visiting the North, South, East or West to explore our beautiful Provence, the possibilities are numerous and varied…
Culture or Nature …
Experiencing the water by Sea or River or the exotic fragrances and scents from the rustic markets of Provence …

All is possible and within a 20 to 90 km perimeter.

Bypass Saint Rémy de Provence, and head for the site des Antiques (Roman vestiges). You will then cross a dry landscape between olive trees and vineyards to reach les Baux de Provence.
There, having strolled in typical souvenir shops, and discovered an amazing landscape steeped in history you can finish by a small bend by Fontvieille to visit le Moulin de Daudet.
Half day – 60 km.

If you have the whole day why not continue to Arles, where you will discover Le theatre antique, Les alyscamps and Les arenas…

Sundays at the edge of Sorgue :
Having well breakfasted on our beautiful terrace, how about a trip to the Isle on Sorgue “to hunt for antiques”?
Their antique shops attract a discerning international clientele.
The nearby traditional market is also well worth a look.
You might then continue towards the Fontaine de Vaucluse, which harbours a small regional curiosity. A natural spring appears to be spouting ink!

For the benefit of the magic, perhaps we won’t dwell on the source of the water!
Next, take the road leading from the spring, and visit the picturesque village.

Half day – 50 km.

If you have more time, continue towards Gordes which is one of the most beautiful villages of France, by the touristic road. Then on to Roussillon to visit the Path of Ochre situated in a fabulous soaring landscape known as ‘Colorado of Provence’.
